AtkinsRéalis’ DWS business consists of over 250 professionals of all disciplines and backgrounds working together to deliver innovative solutions to some of the most challenging and complex problems and projects in the UK’s nuclear industry. Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in either our Warrington or Westlakes office, delivering projects as part of one of our existing Joint Ventures to our key client. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, influence the growth and development of the project management team and progress in their career.

You will also be responsible for the bidding and delivery of our projects to time, cost, and quality throughout their project lifecycle, from tender to closeout.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality project and programme management standards.
Advise your client at any time on the project cost, programme, risks, and issues.
Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary professional team.
Lead communications and relationships with your client and their stakeholders.
Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers etc.
Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
Positively influence the internal team and seek to add value.
Manage key client relationships.
Assist to generate repeat business and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Degree qualified (degree or HNC in a relevant Engineering Discipline preferable).

Experience And Skills

Significant experience of Project Manager roles on large scale multidisciplinary projects.
Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with clients so that Atkins’ commercial objectives are protected and met.
Experience of working in the nuclear industry.
Experience of the management of a project portfolio.
Good understanding of Design procedures, change control, checking and Review requirements.
Experience of leading large multidisciplinary teams.
