The role…

We are seeking someone with strong 3rd line IT Infrastructure skills with at least 5years or equivalent experience to work within the infrastructure team delivering IT services to approx. 4000 end users. GlobalData operates in a hybrid environment with cloud and on-premises systems. The infrastructure team is responsible for all core backend systems which includes servers, switches, firewalls and WAN technologies.

What You'll Be Doing...

Maintain and monitor the internal hardware. Investigate issues.
Rebuild and deploy on-premises hardware where required.
Monitor and deploy storage where required. Track data usage.
Monitor server/comms room capabilities
Network patch management / UPS and power distribution
Monitor server logs and events. Investigate as required
Work within team and advise / discuss issues.
