As long as you have a fast internet connection, a reliable computer, and a private, quiet workspace, you will have the flexibility to work from any country, provided that the time zone difference is within two hours of the UK. As the first point of contact for vulnerable clients and their families, you will be their trusted support. We are looking for an excellent administrator who is professional, discreet and warm.

Supporting highly experienced mental health practitioners, your administrative skills will keep their practices running smoothly so they can focus on their clinical work. You will sensitively handle telephone, email, and text messages from patients seeking psychotherapy/psychology, psychiatry, prescriptions, or relaying messages to practitioners. Your phone line etiquette and prompt, accurate email responses will reflect your calm, courteous, and confidential manner. An expertise in phone handling is particularly valued since we champion personal human connection.

The training will be conducted online through Zoom, using the screen-sharing feature.

Location: Home-based (self-employed)

Pay: £13.55 per hour (weekdays) | £14.69 per hour (Saturdays) + commission

As this is a self-employed role, you will invoice us monthly.

Working Hours:

Monday: 1pm – 4pm (3 hours)
Tuesday: 1pm – 4pm(3 hours)
Wednesday: 1pm – 4pm (3 hours)
Saturday: 9am – 5pm – (8hours)

Additional Duties:

Psychiatric Transcriptions: To be completed weekly at your preferred times, provided they are submitted within 72 hours of receipt. This task is completed outside of your regular shifts and is paid at your standard weekday hourly rate.
Ad-Hoc Coverage: Holiday and sick leave cover at other hours, depending on your availability.

The hours are fixed and are long-term.

Qualifications

You have previously worked in the medical sector (preferably)

You are technically savvy and able to easily use different cloud-based systems

You have a minimum typing speed of 55wpm (this will be tested, please do not apply if your typing speed is less than 55wpm as your application will not be considered)

You will need a home-office set up since the position is entirely remote-based (fast internet connection, computer with good audio to make and receive calls, private and quiet space as the calls and emails are confidential)

You are loyal, able to stay for the long term and become part of the group expansion.
