CMC are seeking a highly skilled Lead Propulsion Systems Engineers with a strong experience in diesel engines. Knowledge of gasoline engines is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering with deep systems-level understanding, particularly in propulsion efficiency and emissions.

6 Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Remote

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and integration of propulsion systems, focusing on performance and emissions reduction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level efficiency and compliance
Utilise MATLAB and Simulink for modelling and simulation of propulsion systems
Support client meetings and presentations periodically on-site (Approximately once every 3 months)

Required Experience:
Proven experience in diesel engine systems; gasoline experience is a plus
Background in propulsion or attribute engineering
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and system integration
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
Experience with emissions-focused engineering projects
