Business environment
Amadeus Revenue Accounting enables airlines to track all passenger sales revenues in real-time, facilitating strategic decision-making, and maximizing their productivity by automating many revenue accounting processes.
It is part of the Amadeus Financial Suite which represents a significant potential for diversification and company growth.
The functional solution must be built in close relationship with our customers while proposing major innovations compared to existing products, defining the next-generation of airline financial systems.
Revenue Accounting is integrated to Altéa, which implies working with other divisions and acquiring deep functional knowledge on other areas (Altéa DCS, Ticketing, SSP, etc.).
American Airline (AA - Sabre PSS), the biggest airline in the word (in PBs) recently selected our Amadeus Revenue Accounting solution, with a cutover planned in January 2026.
We are currently building a Standalone Revenue Accounting for them, adapted to the north american standards.

In the Revenue Accounting department you will join a friendly team and will work in a rich environment with diverse opportunities to grow either on functional side (acquisition, accounting, interline billing, reporting,..) and/or technical side (going from classical C++ backend to Java SKube microservices and event-based architecture using Kafka).
We have many technical challenges to address: We have to manage the largest Oracle Database in Amadeus and we provide powerful Big Data solutions using MongoDB and Azure Databricks. Performances improvement is always a hot topic especially with American Airlines coming, along with our migration to the Cloud, streamlining our DevOps activities, and building our new Order Accounting solution in scope of Nevio.

Your Main Responsibilities

Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.

Technical Excellence
Producing code of high quality with high efficiency
Work in each step of the product development cycle including creating technical requirements, leading complex feasibility studies, project planning, identifying dependencies and improvements
Investigate, analyze & give recommendations on the root causes of complex software and system defects
Solving problems / troubleshooting in a timely manner & with a high level of engagement
Foster applications that are easy to monitor and operate, to improve infrastructure availability
Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements mastery, code reviews, coding guidelines, unit testing and code refactoring
Technological Acumen – cross disciplinary knowledge (ex. UI, network…)
Continuous Improvement
Suggest evolution of the component and make recommendations on how to manage the debt of the code / clean up the code
Improve the technical aspect of the project delivery and provide recommendations for engineering process improvement
Building cross-functional/technical teams & knowledge sharing

Consistently create successful engagement on projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in driving operating and service excellence
Attending to PE community events
