Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our diverse, dynamic, collaborative and creative Product Design team. In this role, you will create functional and appealing products, balancing user experience, business goals, and technology through research, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, optimisation and trading teams. You will create meaningful, accessible and desirable experiences that delight our users.
Lead Design Projects: Take ownership of the entire design lifecycle for key projects, from initial research and concept development to final implementation and iteration
User Research and Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and validate concepts
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet user needs and business objectives
Prototyping and Wire-framing: Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma
Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all product touch-points. Ensure best practise and governance are upheld with the maintenance our our Design Systems
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into your work as appropriate
Documentation: Create detailed design documentation and specifications to communicate design decisions effectively.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across web and mobile applications.
Bachelor's degree in Design, UX Design, or a related field.
Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a user-centred approach to design.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Experience mentoring junior designers.
