Job Title: AWS Security Architect
Location: Remote
Contact: Outside IR35, 6 months initially
My client is currently seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect to support the development of a robust AWS-based data platform. This role is critical in ensuring that the platform meets the appropriate security standards, ensuring everything delivered from a design point of view is secure.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and advise on the security architecture of the new AWS data platform, ensuring secure design and implementation.
Assess architectural diagrams, data flows, and identity access management processes to identify potential vulnerabilities.
Provide expert guidance on implementing security controls to mitigate identified risks.
Work closely with stakeholders to document and assess risks, determining their acceptability based on organisational needs.
Deliver a comprehensive review to address security concerns, enabling the project to proceed without delays.
Promote the principle of data minimisation by ensuring access is limited to authorised personnel only.
Key Requirements:
Proven expertise in security architecture, specifically within AWS cloud environments.
Experience with risk identification, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration in regulated industries.
Familiarity with identity and access management and secure data flow practices.
