Senior Network Consultant - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Coventry - Long term Programme
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Consultant to provide oversight and strategic direction for a team of engineers supporting a national household name.
This role includes driving technical excellence, ensuring network tools and infrastructure meet service levels, and overseeing integration of third-party solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead network design, implementation, and optimization.
Act as Technical Design Authority, ensuring high- and low-level designs meet security, service, and contractual requirements.
Oversee integration of third-party SDWAN and hosted voice solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and documentation review.
Develop and maintain a technical architecture roadmap.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in nationwide retail environments.
Expertise in LAN, WAN, WiFi, SDWAN, unified comms, and network security technologies.
Knowledge of Cisco SDWAN, Mitel VOIP, Aruba products, and FortiGate Firewalls.
Strong design documentation and communication skills.
Leadership and stakeholder management experience
Location: Coventry
Contract: 6 months, Inside IR35
Day Rate: £400PD - £475PD (Negotiable)
Start Date: ASAP
