IT Support Technician – Hybrid - Falkirk

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join a team in a hybrid role, based near Falkirk with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing 1st line IT support across various infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, troubleshooting a wide range of issues from application errors to server and network problems.
Provide technical support on Microsoft network technologies and Office 365.
Manage Active Directory administration, workstation deployment, and helpdesk coverage.
Ensure accurate logging, tracking, and escalation of IT issues within the team.
Collaborate closely with colleagues to improve IT processes and contribute innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role or a keen graduate with relevant degree
Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs), and cybersecurity concepts.
Familiarity with helpdesk management solutions and basic PowerShell scripting.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Benefits & Working Hours:
35 hour week - half day on a Friday
Occasional out-of-hours work may be required for travel, on-site support, or project work.
Participation in an on-call rota.
