Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Data Architect/Modeller to join the existing team on a existing Transformation Project within Payments.

This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

We'll look to you to influence and support architecture, platform, and domain teams on the data delivery, ensuring data is considered throughout the requirements, design and delivery life cycle. Partnering with the wider technology teams, including the central data team, solution architects, infrastructure architects within your domain, and platform teams, you'll design and manage the data life cycle.

We'll look to you to elaborate on the solution and its interfaces, validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives, and create the continuous delivery pipeline. You'll also provide analysis of options and deliver end-to-end solution designs using the relevant building blocks, as well as producing designs for features that allow frequent and incremental delivery of customer value.

Key Skills and Experience
You'll bring expert knowledge of designing data intensive applications, with working knowledge of industry architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate. You'll also need an understanding of Agile and contemporary methodologies with experience of working in Agile teams.

On top of this, you'll bring
A solid knowledge of modern data management practices and technologies
Experience of defining application architectures and roadmaps for complex solutions working for all layers of the technical architecture
Strong experience of working with AWS, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
A background in delivering solutions that securely span a complex infrastructure domain
Experience of systems development change life cycles, best practices and approaches
Knowledge of hardware, software, application, systems engineering, cloud, event streaming, microservices, and APIs
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and leadership level colleagues

The NHS Counter Fraud Authority is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. As a Data Engineer you will have direct oversight and responsibility for the development implementation review and establishment of data and techniques used in the Advanced Data Analytics Portfolio (DAP). The primary responsibilities will include developing, evaluating, maintaining, and managing data pipelines, processing, preparing data suitable for analysis, and developing and maintaining data models. You will support the design of analytical services, products, and models that meet the needs of NHSCFA. The post holder will be required to have a NPPV3.
