Workday HRIS Analyst

My client, a large Insurance Company, is looking for a Workday HRIS Analyst to deliver a comprehensive and professional global Workday/HR technical service to managers and employees in line with our Service Level Agreements to ensure the smooth day to day operation but will also support on change and release management.
You will bring the prior experience of embedding Workday will have experience of working in fast-paced, highly commercial and entrepreneurial environments. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering beyond the day to day and working with the HR Leaders and other Centres of Expertise to deliver wider HR strategic initiatives and priorities. This role will report directly to the Global Head of HRIS based in the UK.
Key Accountabilities
Serve as a functional and technical expert for Workday, supporting end users with their requests
Work with the HR Team in the analysis, development, implementation and support of allocated HR projects & changes
Work with the global HRIS team to manage the prioritization and execution of Workday fixes
Manage the ongoing maintenance of the HR organization structure in Workday
Support automation and process improvements across all HR Systems
Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releases
Support on ensuring that Workday is fully integrated with key business systems
Perform detailed manipulation of complex data via tools such as spreadsheets and EIB's.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Excellent knowledge of Workday, covering HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Learning, Recruiting and Time Tracking
Excellent technical skills across a wide range of technology products
An inquisitive and challenging mind, with an interest in questioning and improving the "as is"
Excellent operational skills eg processes, procedures, data analysis
Excellent HR experience and knowledge
Insurance Sector Experience - Desirable
