Job Responsibilities
Lead the Market Risk SRE function, supporting all applications across the Market Risk function.
You will have functional line management for all the support teams in Market Risk Technology.
Develops and implement frameworks to provide oversight of the Market Risk Technology production ecosystem.
Drives the evolution of the Market Risk SRE organisation – from creation of SLO/SLA/SLI, thorough observability, calculating error budgets, and actively driving toil reduction.
Promote the optimisation of the Run costs across Market Risk Technology, being accountable for the results
Works with development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure sustainable software releases.
Leads medium to large projects by bringing together the proper perspective, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from team members and subject matter experts at the firm.
Participates in support responsibilities for coverage of critical applications.
Sees problems as opportunities to improve.
Identifies and solves problems of high complexity.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experience.
Experience working in an organisation with formal SRE functions.
Experience creating or transforming an SRE organisation at a large firm.
An innovative leader, able to lead by example and help teams evolve the culture to the SRE mindset.
Background in software development.
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable depth in one or more technical disciplines.
