Job Overview

We are looking for an organised and detailed-oriented individual to provide clinical administrative support to the Medical Examiner’s Service. This role will also involve providing comprehensive administrative support to Medical Examiners and Medical Examiner's officers while ensuring that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all documentation and data input concerning patients and treatment.

Main duties of the job

To provide an administrative service to the Department.
To answer queries from bereaved families on the Medico-legal processes that apply after death with compassion and care
To operate the various IT systems used to fulfil the role/department requirements
To liaise with other hospitals, other personnel and patients proactively and at the request of a Consultant and the Service Manager.
To undertake photocopying/scanning duties as required.
