Group Consumer Intelligence Manager

Mission

The Group Consumer Intelligence Manager will play a crucial role in shaping Puratos' strategic direction by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting consumer knowledge and insights, turning them into actionable recommendations. This position is essential for helping Puratos’ and our customers’ business thrive by adapting to a constantly changing consumer environment.

What will you do:

Being part of the Group Marketing Intelligence department of Puratos headquarters in Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium, you provide research services and work in close collaboration with our bakery, patisserie and chocolate Business Units and different Puratos subsidiaries around the world,

Consumer trends & innovation research:
You lead the development and execution of consumer research projects.
You conduct, most often in collaboration with external partners, continuous and ad hoc research on product innovations and renovations, product launches, consumer trends, attitudes and perceptions, local taste preferences,…in cooperation with the Business Units and worldwide subsidiaries. You choose the supplier, set up the research design in terms of sample and methodology, questionnaire, analyze the results, conduct and present reports.

Data Analysis & Reporting: You analyze consumer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You utilize advanced analytics tools to interpret data and generate insights. You prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.
Strategic Advisory & Recommendations: You provide strategic recommendations based on consumer insights to support product development, marketing strategies, and business growth.
Knowledge Management: You centralize and communicate consumer insights by keeping the marketing intelligence library up to date. You explore and improve our AI knowledge management tool that is currently being developed.
Collaboration: You work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure consumer insights are integrated into decision-making processes.
Tool Management: You manage and utilize various tools and platforms for data collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence. You train the local teams on the selected tools.

Who are we looking for:

You own a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
You have 5+ years of experience in research, ideally in a market research, marketing or communication agency environment.
You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful insight strategies.
Strong analytical skills with ability to combine consumer insights with business acumen, leading to actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
You take initiative and are able to lead and inspire a diverse team of Marketing Intelligence Champions across the globe.
You are curious, data driven, digital savvy and inspired by the understanding of local culture’s diversity.
You are determined to continuously improve everything we do, daring to challenge boundaries to deliver superior value in customer experiences.
