Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate with the chance to join a team in growth mode, where unlocking new data outlets and shaping the narrative with existing Mantis clients will be justly rewarded. 2025 is a key year for Mantis, and this newly created role is key to the success as we look to increase data partnerships with key Ad Tech vendors in order to enable the buy side the best choice in the market for contextual advertising.

This position is a mixture of home-based and hub based (Canary Wharf), and in this role you will work alongside the Digital Commercial Director to create new data partnerships with the leading SSP and DSPs - this will be key to the first year in this role.

You will support Mantis Marketplace publishers with best practice and data strategies across their own O&O domains, and will also support Mantis agency and brand direct teams. Our Data Marketplace Lead will work to continuously up skill external programmatic sales teams on Mantis contextual segments.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed:

You will need to have advanced programmatic knowledge and understanding on how data is accessed via SSP & DSPs, plus be adept at selling data to the relevant stakeholders. Having existing buyside relationships will be a huge advantage.

We are looking for individuals with demonstrable success in a sales role capacity with a stellar reputation and proven track record as being one of the industry’s best. It is essential that you have demonstrated the ability to think strategically to identify a brand’s key business objectives and challenges, translating and building into compelling value propositions.

We are looking for highly curious and intelligent individuals, constantly enhancing your industry knowledge and competitive insight to help you close business and generate significant revenue. You will be the ultimate team player and have proven experience working cross functionally and collaboratively across internal teams to build business and sales activity.

You will be an excellent problem solver and are able to handle multiple priorities utilizing exceptional organisational skills. This is a fast paced team environment, and we need someone who can be both a self starter and maintain rigorous attention to detail.
