Job Title: Network Automation DevOps Engineer
Location: Anywhere in the UK, remote (occasional travel to office)
Rate: 250 GBP / Day Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:
System Administration and Automation:
• Administer and develop wf's on Itential Automation Platform for network automation tasks.
• Manage and configure Cisco NSO as both an administrator and developer to streamline network service orchestration.
• Set up and maintain highly available applications like iap/nso/gitlab/sonarqube/rabbitmq/redis/openshfit/argocd
Development & Scripting:
• Develop automation scripts using Python for system integration and operational tasks.
• Design and integrate REST APIs using tools like Postman for testing and development.
Containerization & Cloud Infrastructure:
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and OpenShift, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
• Utilize VMware for virtualized infrastructure and manage workloads.
• Familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
CI/CD Pipelines & Version Control:
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab CI for automated deployments and integrations.
• Implement best practices for version control with Git and manage code quality with SonarQube.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments to ensure uptime and efficiency.
• Implement high availability and fault tolerance across systems.
