Mechanical Design Engineer - Roeselare Region - Permanent Role
I am currently working with a company that provides specialist automation machinery manufacturing solutions for their clients across the Flemish region. They are looking for an engineer with significant experience in the 3D design of machines & installations.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop 3D models and assemblies of mechanical systems and components using Inventor and other 3D CAD software.
Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects.
Collaborate with the testing team to validate designs through prototyping, simulations, and performance testing.
Take a senior/lead role in an existing team, providing assistance and training to your more junior colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in a machine building environment.
Significant experience in the use of 3D CAD Software, specifically Autodesk Inventor.
Fluency in Dutch is preferred.
