My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit an IT SOX Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. Please note if successful the IT SOX Manager will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE. transaction experience is critical. This role is an exciting opportunity within our Client's Digital and Tech Governance, Risk and Compliance organisation who provides services and expertise to enable risk based, compliant, efficient and value driven Tech Delivery. This role involves the testing of critical IT controls for in-scope SOX processes and systems.
Key responsibilities
Perform and support testing of IT General Controls, Automated Controls and key reports for in scope systems to support the SOX Testing strategy.
Oversee the 3rd party Technology SOx testing service.
Work closely with process owners to remediate and maintain compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Liaise with external auditors during testing phases and ongoing throughout the year.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
Significant experience in IT general controls (ITGCs) and automated controls testing for Sarbanes Oxley or general IT audit
Proven capability in Technology Risk Management and Internal Controls
Experience of working with external auditors on control and SOx testing
Strong and clear communication skills - verbal and written
Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise appropriately
Preferred
Experience at a Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC) or in-house SOX testing team
SAP and infrastructure knowledge and experience
Azure Cloud, SailPoint and CyberArk experience
CRISC, CISA or other relevant qualification
