An experienced Fullstack Engineer skilled in Python and React development is sought after by a global Tier 1 Investment Manager based in the City of London.
The role is to join a Front Office team that are responsible for their global Fixed Income and ETF platforms, working in direct conjunction with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Quants.

The organisation is about to embark on a global transformation/modernisation and so the role will involve feature enhancement on the existing platforms, and in the long-term contributing to the greenfield build of next-generation replacements, which will be fully AWS cloud-native.

To be successful you will demonstrate:
A strong background in fullstack engineering, with the ability to provide seamless integration between the frontend and backend
Hands-on development skills in Python, with an understanding of API development, and usage of FastAPI/Django/Flask
Hands-on development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with a focus on building responsive UIs, prioritising user experience and performance
Experience of AWS cloud-based infrastructure, particularly API Gateway, S3 Buckets and Step Functions
A career background within Investment Management/Investment Banking, preferably within Fixed Income but also open to Equities, FX, Commodities etc.
