Head of IT Infrastructure – Investment Management

An investment management organisation is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure to lead the global delivery and oversight of infrastructure services. This role reports to the Head of IT Production and manages a small team across Networks, Unified Comms, Azure, AV, and M365.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of seven across core infrastructure functions.
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including networks, servers, procurement, backup/recovery, and performance monitoring.
Develop infrastructure performance metrics and drive operational improvements.
Manage third-party service providers and ensure quality of delivery.
Collaborate with IT and Security leadership on strategy and standards.
Support international sites and provide resourcing for wider tech projects.
Skills & Experience:
Prior leadership experience in IT Infrastructure, ideally in financial services or a mission-driven organisation.
Strong knowledge of Azure, M365, Sharepoint and Cisco.
Confident communicator with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Familiar with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and Prince2 principles.
Track record of managing external vendors and global environments.

My client, a leading Financial Services organisation based in Northampton, are currently looking for a Business Analysts to join their new programme on a permanent basis.
You will be working directly with the Head Of to define the TOM across a new operations team being set up, in response to a Compliance mandate that will work across multiple business units in the bank. Further to this you will be running the analysis and providing the vision on the team set up, and how it will support the technology changes to follow, and defining the target operating model as this programme moves into BAU.
The ideal candidate will have a strong process delivery background with experience setting up new operations teams / functions with an appreciation for how technology is impacted and delivered.

I am currently searching for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a Data Analytics team within a Specialty Insurance organisation. This position plays a key role in enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities across the entire organization. Their current team brings strong expertise in Power BI and Tabular models, and they are now looking to strengthen it further with someone who has a background in machine learning and AI. This is a business-facing role, requiring someone who can help plan and coordinate the delivery of data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives. We've recently rolled out a modern Data Platform featuring embedded Power BI, and we're seeking someone who can combine technical skills with business insight to contribute to the development of content through an AGILE delivery methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and deliver effective solutions
Build and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, SSAS Tabular, and predictive tools
Lead technical development and offer guidance on analytics projects
Maintain and improve existing reporting assets
Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and properly documented
Optimize data models and promote best practices in performance
Stay current with data and reporting tech trends, including supporting AI adoption in 2025
Foster strong internal stakeholder relationships
Manage personal workload and align with delivery plans
Required Experience
Proven experience with predictive analytics, including forecasting and scenario modelling
Advanced development of SSAS Tabular data models
Expertise in Power BI, including dashboards and paginated reports
Practical experience applying AI tools to enhance analytics or operations
Comfortable coding in Python
Strong DAX and T-SQL skills, including query optimization
Industry experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
Familiarity with Databricks is advantageous
