THE ROLE:
As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating impactful dashboards and visual reports, responding to business data requests, and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders. You will leverage your experience with SQL and BigQuery to build efficient data models and enhance the company's data-driven decision-making processes.
Specific duties will include:
Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to present key business data
Writing and optimising SQL queries to manipulate and analyse large datasets
Using BigQuery to manage and query cloud-based data
Collaborating with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to dashboards and data accuracy
Ensuring that dashboards and reports are user-friendly and aligned with business goals
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Power BI Developer will have:
Strong commercial experience in building dashboards and reports using Power BI
Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and data manipulation
Experience working with BigQuery or similar cloud-based data platforms
A proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
