Our client a specialist engineering business based in Aberdeen, as looking for an Interim European Finance Director to strengthen the team. Reporting in the Group Finance Director, this role would oversee a team of circa 8, with leadership of the offshore SSC. This assignment would need someone to be able to start asap and is required to support the business over the coming 6 months.
Key requirements:
Experienced in long term contracts across either, engineering, industrials or manufacturing.
Supporting the global business, but overseeing the European region
FP&A and strategy focused background
Lead and manage all finance activities within the region, including accounting, reporting, FP&A, budgeting, treasury, and risk management.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the region's business objectives.
Provide commercial and operational finance insights, drive cost efficiencies
On site in Aberdeen 3 days a week.
Circa £800-900pd plus expenses if non local.
