Role – We are looking for an experienced Liferay Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions using Liferay DXP. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in portal development, content management, and system integration, with a deep understanding of Liferay’s architecture and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Liferay-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Define best practices and standards for Liferay development, including performance optimization and security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers and other team members.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
• Integrate Liferay with third-party applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Liferay environments.

Key Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 5 years focused on Liferay DXP.
• Expertise in Liferay 7.x and above, including themes, portlets, hooks, and service builder.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in Liferay workflow, permissions, and user management.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is an advantage.
• Consulting background.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written)
• Rights to work in the UK is must (No Sponsorship available)
