Job Description
The Financial Services market is a key priority for Sopra Steria. This sector encompasses a robust client portfolio, including leading banks, insurance companies, social secretaries, and mutuality companies. Financial Services is also a focal point for our Consulting activities, offering substantial growth opportunities as our clients navigate diverse stages of their digital transformation journeys.
As part of the Consulting Business Line at Sopra Steria, you will play a pivotal role within the Financial Services Community. Collaborating with a network of peers, you will contribute to or lead efforts such as crafting proposals, developing service offerings, sharing industry insights, and driving internal projects.
Your primary focus will be client engagements, which will constitute the majority of your time. These engagements may involve working as part of high-performing teams embedded within client organizations or contributing to Sopra Steria’s fixed-price Consulting projects within multidisciplinary teams.
As a Senior Consultant or Manager, you will take ownership of complex assignments, manage client relationships, develop and apply managerial skills, and support business development activities. Leveraging on your industry expertise, your responsibilities on specific projects may include project and change management, Agile/Scrum facilitation, business and functional analysis, or architectural design

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following:
Experience: 3 to 6 years of professional experience in Consulting, working with clients in the Financial Services industry.
Industry Knowledge: strong understanding of business processes in one or more of the following sectors: large banks, insurance companies, social security organizations, and/or mutuality companies.
Digital Transformation: demonstrated experience in contributing to or leading digital transformation initiatives for clients, combining deep industry knowledge with a strong affinity for digitalization and IT.
Areas of Expertise: demonstrated skills in one or more of the following domains: IT Advisory (Target Operating Models), Project Management, Business/Functional Analysis, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Architectural Design, ESG, or Product Management.
Additional Knowledge: familiarity with topics such as Open Finance, Instant Payments, AI in Financial Services, ESG, or cloud migration strategies are a plus.
Certifications: recognized certifications such as Prince2, TOGAF/Archimate, Leading SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.
Consulting Mindset: strong ability to build and maintain trustworthy client relationships, familiarity with business development approaches, and a strong connection to the Consulting "motherhouse".
Languages: fluency in English and either French or Dutch is required.
