Interact with multiple stakeholders (business, architecture, functional engineers, management and developers) in order to achieve success.
Show and develop your professional expertise regarding software development and its lifecycle.
Apply a holistic approach in your work effort, being a switch between the stakeholders mentioned above and create value propositions.
Maintain standards, venture in new concepts, help to prototype and adopt new methodologies and solution patterns.
Steer the adoption and evolution of engineering tools (reg. API management, code quality, monitoring …)
Join the engineering communities (Java, .NET, Angular, AXA global software community) and participate in the DevOps and Cloud journeys.
Launch and lead initiatives that increase the overall technical maturity of the Customer & Distributor Portals Feature
Able to coach and provide support to the development team to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Build an internal network that allows you to stay connected with the transversal it teams: engineering excellence, security, communications, data and more.


As a Lead Technical Engineer, you have:

Technical skills
A bachelor or Master degree in IT (or equivalent with seniority in IT development) or in Sciences with a strong interest in IT
Strong experience of several technologies (Angular, .Net, Java,…) and frameworks associated
A test-driven development approach is highly appreciated
Experience/Knowledge in AWS and Azure

Soft skills
Full working proficiency in English. Knowledge of French and Dutch is considered a plus
Active learning mindset
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Flexibility and team mindset
Eager to take up and lead challenges and changes
Ability to identify opportunities and come up with an action plan
