We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors, including Connected Devices, Cybersecurity, Industrial Machinery, and Compliance Services. This role requires a strategic approach to market development, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to expand our market presence.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and key clients across various industries.

Stay informed on emerging trends and regulatory changes in areas such as connected devices, cybersecurity, industrial machinery, and compliance testing.

Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.

Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

Maintain a working knowledge of relevant industry regulations, including the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), NIS2, Cybersecurity frameworks, Machinery Directive /New Regulations, and other compliance standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure our service offerings align with regulatory requirements and industry expectations.

Support clients in navigating compliance challenges and implementing best practices.

Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline management, revenue growth, and market penetration.

Provide regular updates and insights to senior management, highlighting opportunities and challenges.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems.

Qualifications/Qualifikationen

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven track record in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within a technical or regulated industry.

Strong understanding of market dynamics, compliance frameworks, and certification requirements.

Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions.

Proficiency in CRM systems and business intelligence tools.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience working in IoT, cybersecurity, industrial automation, or regulatory compliance.

Familiarity with CE Marking, RED, cybersecurity regulations, or industrial safety standards.
