Would you like to join a team of physical security professionals and conduct security operations in Amazon Web Services (AWS) spaces? The AWS Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC) is looking for a motivated individual to work as an AWS Incident Response Team (IRT) Analyst.

What does an IRT Analyst do at AWS?

As an AWS IRT Analyst, you will employ physical security strategies and procedures in accordance with service level agreements concerning AWS security processes. You will work within the AWS PSOC while responding to physical security events affecting or threatening AWS physical infrastructure, associates, operations, and assets region wide. Daily responsibilities include physical access control administration, monitoring physical access control systems, monitoring a contracted guard force, report writing, intelligence gathering and distributing program wide notifications when necessary. You will also manage internal and external email and phone communications, triage trouble tickets, handle incoming queries, and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate should have a proven record of accomplishment of customer service, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate good judgment while multi-tasking. The candidate will also be able to follow PSOC tasks, procedures, and utilise discretion when dealing with sensitive information. Most importantly the candidate will possess the appetite and inclination to continually identify ways to improve and raise the bar for security. The AWS PSOC is a 24/7/365 operation and shift work will be required, including nights, weekends and holidays.

We are seeking motivated team members with a willingness to learn and experience in physical security operations covering areas such as: security operations centres, security dispatch centres, military or law enforcement. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's degree in a security discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.

5+ years of experience working within a security operations centre.

Ability to write security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to senior management and customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working within a global or regional security operations centre

Well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.

Experience configuring and modifying access control systems (ex: Lenel, Gallagher, Feenics, Multi-Max, C-Cure, Honeywell, etc.). Experience programming/administrating Access Control Systems and CCTV
