We are looking to expand our North East Security Team, we are looking for experienced Security Engineers.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate must have good knowledge and experience in all aspects of security installations. You will be responsible for undertaking various new installations, pre-planned and reactive maintenance works encompassing either, CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarm Systems.
You must demonstrate a knowledge of Security System British/EN Standard and knowledge of NSI Standards.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities are to:
Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing & commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems – IP Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment.
Liaising with ARC (Alarm receiving centres)
Production of high quality commissioning and handover documentation
Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e. Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.
Client training and demonstration of systems.
Responding to out of hours service calls.
Person Specification
Technical Competencies - Essential
At least 3 years previous experience in a Security role.
A good general knowledge of Security Systems - Intruder Alarms, Access control, CCTV and Intercom
Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurances)
Employment will be subject to successful BS7858 security screening and Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS)
Technical Competencies - Desirable
Knowledge of IP Systems / Networking is preferable
Knowledge of various manufacturers equipment i.e: Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom , Bosch, Hikvision.
