The Role:

We are in search of an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. The focus of this role is on process optimization, scalability, and operational efficiency, ensuring that the client’s AI-powered workflows are seamlessly integrated into business operations.

This is not a typical corporate BA position. We need someone who can move quickly, adapt efficiently, and drive significant operational improvements without introducing unnecessary complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization & Scalability
Map, evaluate, and refine business processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
Identify bottlenecks and propose scalable, automated solutions.
Collaborate closely with tech teams to ensure effective integration of AI models (such as Image2Scope) into workflows.
Ensure operational processes support rapid scaling without creating bureaucratic hurdles.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with leadership, engineers, product teams, and operations to align business needs with technology solutions.
Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business users, ensuring practical and effective solutions.
Engage with external partners (insurers, contractors, housing associations) to align client’s AI solutions with industry processes.

Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize insights and analytics to measure process effectiveness and guide improvements.
Leverage automation tools, databases, and integrations to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure AI-powered workflows deliver maximum business value and are continuously optimized.

Change Management & Execution
Drive the adoption of new processes, ensuring teams can implement changes smoothly.
Create clear and concise documentation and SOPs to support scaling.
Work iteratively, adapting processes based on business needs and feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a fast-moving startup environment with a track record of improving and scaling operational processes.
Strong business process mapping and optimisation skills.
Ability to identify and drive automation opportunities within workflows.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both business and technical teams.
Comfort with AI-driven technology and integrating automation into operations.
Experience working across multiple departments (engineering, product, operations, customer teams).
Strong analytical mindset, able to use data to guide decisions and measure impact.
Self-starter mentality, with the ability to move quickly, adapt, and execute without needing extensive direction.

Nice to Have (Not Essential):

Experience in proptech, insurtech, or AI-driven businesses.
Familiarity with automation tools, low-code platforms, or workflow integrations.
Knowledge of APIs, AI models, or software development processes.

The Details:

Full-time, permanent role – remote, but candidates should be based in Scotland.
Competitive salary up to £50k DOE + equity/share scheme.
