Job Description
Do you work in Vulnerability Management?
Do you want to support a European wide organisation to plan and execute the fixes required to reduce and resolve the vulnerabilities across Europe?
You will supplement an existing security function focussing solely on vulnerabilities and working through the fixes required to make a more stable and secure environment.
You will be responsible for:
Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments using Rapid7.
Generate detailed reports on vulnerabilities, their impact, and remediation status.
Execute fixes to reduce or remove vulnerabilities and delegate tasks to internal teams.
Cover projects across the UK and three other European countries (some travel required).
Requirements:
Solid understanding of security frameworks and standards.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common vulnerabilities.
Ability to generate detailed reports and communicate findings effectively.
Willingness to travel occasionally
This is an engagement with onsite work required due to nature of the engagement and the stakeholders involved. Expectation is that you will be onsite 2 x per week in Kent.
You can engage via your Limited Company for this engagement. Daily rate wise - is £450 - £500 per day.

Be-IT is working with a startup who are using tech / digital solutions to transform farming. They are backed by a larger organisation who are well respected in the industry.

Seeking an experienced Backend Developer to play a role in building and refining the businesses data systems. You’ll design secure databases, create robust APIs and develop tools that translate agricultural data into insights. You’ll be working closely with a small team of industry professionals solving real-world challenges through technology.

Your key responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance databases to handle large datasets.
Design and implement RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs to ensure smooth data exchange between systems.
Contribute to the creation of data analysis and visualisation tools that deliver valuable insights to users.
Work with IoT and remote sensing devices to ingest, process and validate data from multiple sources.
Safeguard data systems in compliance with GDPR and industry standards for handling sensitive agricultural data.
Document workflows, APIs, and system processes, and collaborate across teams to meet shared goals.

If should have the following skills and experiences:
Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Some experience as a back-end developer, particularly in data-centric projects.
Expertise in server-side languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or similar.
Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Proven experience with API frameworks and protocols (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Analytical mindset for designing systems that support complex data analysis.

Senior Systems Engineer – Automation, Linux & Networking
Hybrid – Glasgow 3 days in office / 2 days at home
Salary £55,000 - £65,000
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our FinTech client. If you have expertise in Linux administration, automation, and networking, this role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, optimise, and automate infrastructure operations.
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues.
Develop and manage automation with Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
Work closely with System Admin, Security, and Ops teams.
Research and implement new technologies for system improvements.

What We're Looking For:
5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls).
Expertise in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Experience with LDAP, AD, Git, and on-prem server deployment.

Bonus Skills:
Windows administration, monitoring tools, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
