As a Middle Office Operations Associate, you will oversee the operational functions related to options trading, with a secondary focus on DeFi. This role requires a deep understanding of options mechanics, risk management, and structured products, as well as the ability to track positions, margin requirements, and P&L across various trading venues. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and process automation in an evolving and fast-paced market environment
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Monitor and manage all non-linear financial operations, with a primary focus on options trading, including trade reconciliations, lifecycle event management, and settlement processes.
Track, reconcile, and report on trading P&L, margin balances, and position risk, ensuring accuracy across multiple venues.
Collaborate closely with trading, risk, treasury, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution, funding optimization, and proper risk controls.
Develop and enhance automation tools for risk monitoring, P&L attribution, and reconciliation processes for options trading.
Ensure robust operational workflows and risk controls are in place to support growing options market activity.
Support DeFi-related operations as needed, particularly where they intersect with structured products or on-chain derivatives.
Stay up to date with market trends, risk methodologies, and regulatory developments in options trading and digital asset markets.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in options, structured products, or derivatives trading.
Deep understanding of options mechanics, risk management, and margin optimization.
Experience working with trading desks, clearing brokers, and exchange-traded and OTC options.
Knowledge of DeFi products and protocols is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced trading environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
