The VP of Cloud & Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team, ensuring alignment with EVP of IT Infrastructure & Operations goals. They manage budgets, drive cloud and infrastructure strategies, ensure system stability and security, and support team development. They develop policies and standards and lead a management team to ensure engineering operational excellence.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will lead the Cloud & Infrastructure team, ensuring its objectives align with the strategic goals set by the EVP of IT Infrastructure & Operations. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring efficient execution of projects and initiatives. As the primary point of contact for executive-level requests, you will provide strategic guidance to managers and support decision-making processes. Additionally, you will cultivate strong relationships with business leadership across SEFE-Group companies, fostering collaboration and ensuring that cloud and infrastructure initiatives effectively support broader business objectives.

Ensure adherence to central processes and guidelines across teams, facilitating communication and collaboration. Govern IT spending within the infrastructure functions and support the recruitment, motivation, and performance management of team members.
Administer IT infrastructure services (cloud, network, compute, database), implementing best practices for infrastructure operations aligned with business and IT goals. Optimize, evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to meet business needs.
Lead the cloud CoE on behalf of the EVP of IT Infrastructure and Operations. Deploying DevOps and Agile principles to bring innovation to Operations by evaluating new tools, technology and process. Deployment of innovation for both on-prem and cloud services, driving scalable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
Ensure the availability and data protection of systems and critical infrastructure. Manage vendor relationships to balance cost, performance, and strategic alignment.
Develop and implement backup strategies for cloud and on-premises environments. Ensure regular backups are performed, monitored, validated and secured.

Knowledge of technology market trends, contemporary infrastructure solutions, cloud solutions, and IT security
Strong experience with Agile delivery practices and managing teams of 30+ staff
Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and prior experience in cloud-first organisations
Expertise in financial management (FinOps) and resource allocation
Familiar with networking, compute and database concepts and operating systems
