Description

Amazon is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Directors within AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP). This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as seamless extension of the leaders, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and confidentiality.

Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars across global time zones, managing and submitting expense reports, coordinating domestic and international travel, and handling team offsites and meetings. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, anticipate challenges, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

This position is based in-office 5 days/week.

Key job responsibilities

Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders
Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic)
Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies
