Purpose of the role:

As the Senior Data, Research & Insights Manager, you will oversee the use of data, research, and insight from a commercial perspective within the EFL. This role involves developing a deep understanding of the EFL brand, its audience, and their behaviors to enable both the EFL and its member Clubs to deliver targeted commercial activations and drive audience growth. You will manage relationships with key agencies and suppliers to facilitate the delivery of research, database, and insight requirements to support the EFL's strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and control the process, flow and usage of all EFL-owned fan data.
Manage reporting and detailed analysis for internal & club stakeholders of all key measurement metrics – such as broadcast and audience figures
Lead on data collection campaigns to grow database size and increase depth of knowledge of fanbase
Support the wider EFL commercial team & EFL Clubs with media research and sponsorship valuation reporting
Deliver insight that allows more defined marketing campaigns for EFL products & Services, including iFollow (EFL international streaming product
Set and manage research budgets for both contractual and project-based activities
Manage agency and supplier relationships to ensure continuously high levels of delivery against contracts

Your Skills and Experience:

Experience with market research and data analytics agencies.
Proficiency in research and insight strategies, and implementation of research projects.
High competency with CRM and data agencies and an understanding of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Experience with budget management
Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of modern evaluation techniques, sponsorship, and media valuations.
Understanding of data protection processes.
Proven ability to manage databases/CRM requirements and segmentation/targeting methods.
Experience in commercially-focused organisations.
Knowledge of the EFL and its 72 member clubs.
