What you'll do

As an Software Management Analyst, you’ll be providing input to and supporting the team’s activities to deliver software asset management services to customers and stakeholders throughout the bank and ensuring alignment to technical roadmaps, whilst supporting change demands from domains or centres of excellence.

In addition, you’ll be contributing to the delivery of customer outcomes, innovation and early learning by contributing to test products and services to identify early on if they are viable and deliver the desired outcomes.

Your Role Will Involve

Contributing to the platform risk culture, making sure that risks are discussed and understood at every step, and effectively collaborating to mitigate risk
Contributing to the planning and execution of work within the platform and the timely servicing of feature development requests from cross platform initiatives, and supporting the delivery of regulatory reporting
Participating and seeking out opportunities to simplify the platform infrastructure, architecture, services and customer solutions, guarding against introducing new complexity
Building relationships with platform, domain and relevant cross-domain stakeholders
Making sure that controls are applied and constantly reviewed, primarily against SOX, to ensure full compliance to all our policies and regulatory obligations

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a very capable communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to colleagues, including management level. You’ll need a solid background working in an Agile or DevOps environment with continuous delivery and continuous integration.

Technical knowledge, including platform, technology, products and domains
Knowledge of relevant industry standard toolsets such as Flexera and ServiceNow, and processes to drive up customer service within an IT environment
Software licensing and commercial experience for software publishers
Experience working within an ITIL framework

Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Salary of up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the Scientific Applications Specialist will: Provide technical and application support to customers and end users of Brainbox-supplied systems across various research and clinical settings; Support colleagues and distribution partners with technical expertise to aid sales activities; Introduce Brainbox solutions and services to potential and existing customers through pre-sales demonstrations and customer training (online and in person); Develop support materials such as application notes, operating manuals, case studies, and training videos to enhance both support and sales activities; Monitor and evaluate research and clinical publications related to Brainbox products and services; Contribute to the creation of marketing content to promote the company’s offering; Liaise with suppliers to gather technical information, coordinate customer support, and prioritise product development; Represent Brainbox at scientific conferences and exhibitions; Prepare and deliver presentations at Brainbox events on topics such as fundamental principles, latest research, integrated applications, and practical demonstrations, as well as design and run hands-on training sessions; Participate in off-site studies and experiments with customers, end users, and other applicable third parties; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of neuroscience research techniques through academic and professional journals and, where appropriate, by attending educational courses and events; Provide regular internal reporting on these areas of responsibility; and Undertake other tasks as requested by senior managers.
