Support is needed within the Supply Operations Team to provide support for client maintenance periods, need stores support and proactive lookahead to prevent stores related delays. Additional support will enable the Team to provide the full range of services to all platforms including interrogation of Inventory systems to determine stock availability and demand progression.
This is a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic position where your leadership, stakeholder relationship, and decision-making skills will be put to the test. You'll thrive on collaboration, working closely with other teams to support your customers effectively.
As Customer (Operations) Liaison, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Assist in monitoring the budgetary expenditure.
- Use information technology systems, communications, and equipment, to assist in the monitoring of the daily business operation and performance.
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the delivery of In-service support within the Supply Operations Team.
- Supporting the monitoring, analysing and interpretation of data to identify trends, risks, and issues.
- Operations, according to customer requirements, delivery plans and support solutions – with a focus on supporting time critical provision of materials.
- Contributing to the management of risks, issues, and dependencies, communicating changes with stakeholders.

Experience of stakeholder management and delivering customer service

- Role Title: Linux Engineer (MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE) Location: Barrow (Hybrid—3 3 Days on site, 2 at home) Duration: 30/09/2025 Role Description: Suitable Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 9 and secure network architecture and software development environments. Expertise for implementing LDAP, SELinux, Splunk, RDP or VNC, Eclipse C++ Development IDE & plugins, anti-malware tools, configuring switch/Firewall/NAS and other network devices, setup of RHEL subscription and update services, all within a secure NIST based framework. Security requirements for the supplier are covered in section 4. The task package requires the derivation of detailed use cases and design from the high level use cases/requirements and design, and implementation and test of the local development environment including integration with the corporate restricted network, interface and services, along with local network maintenance instructions. Documentary output deliverables will be required to complete these tasks. The Activities and Deliveries section 3 will detail responsibilities of the supplier. The Engineering Manager (Andrew Thompson) will act as hiring manager and has authority to issue the key tasking packages and approve milestone completion. The deliverable outputs for each milestone are identified in Section 3. Progress will be tracked through weekly meetings, and monthly summary reports are to be provided containing details of progress made towards each deliverable, any blockers/dependencies not delivered, and any delays incurred to be reported and agreed.
