What's the role: At Bloomberg Media we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership. We’re seeking a Yield Analyst to join Bloomberg Media Global Yield Team. You will work across all of our media assets including Digital, TV, Social, Audio, and Print. You’ll be responsible for enhancing our inventory to ensure we are properly and effectively monetizing our advertising assets through data-driven strategic analyses, while having the ability to effectively translate and adjust to sales and operational needs.

We’ll Trust You To

Serve as a main point of contact for Sales, Planning, and Ad Operations teams to approve pricing and inventory across multiple mediums and buying methodologies including Digital, Linear, Social, Programmatic.
Be fully engaged and fluent in the inventory, pricing and revenue data to clearly translate that data to many different groups; and quick to understand the story within the data to take action.
Identify inventory trends and develop quantitative analysis and models as needed to expose inventory risks and revenue opportunities.
Have a comprehensive understanding of marketplace nuances and signals to recommend pricing and inventory adjustments to balance effective yield and advertiser performance.
Own the rate card process and structure for multiple mediums and propose changes based on data and marketplace feedback.
Provide recommendations to enhance current systems and tools to more effectively manage pricing and inventory.

You’ll Need To Have

A minimum of 5 years of experience within Digital ad sales including Display/Video, OTT/CTV, Linear TV, Print, Social and Audio/Podcasting
Work experience in advertising, media or finance with a strong background in either Digital or TV in a global organization
Experience in using Microsoft Excel to process large amounts of raw data, specifically with power pivot and power query functions
Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Data-driven with strong mathematical and analytical background
An ability to extract and manipulate a variety of data for all groups across the organization
High attention to detail and comfort with large amounts of raw data
Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation

We'd Love To See

Knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM), Operative and Yield Analytics a plus
Strong communication skills – oral, written, interpersonal
Ability to multitask and work with multiple teams
Excellent organizational and project-management skills
