Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer Needed for Nuclear Project in Warrington

Introduction:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled senior mechanical engineer to join our client's team on a 12-month initial contract based in Warrington, United Kingdom. Our client is working within the nuclear sector, so experience within this industry is required.

Job Summary:

As a senior mechanical engineer with our esteemed client, you will be responsible for providing engineering support throughout all stages of project delivery. Your primary focus will involve ensuring that designs meet safety standards as well as technical specifications while delivering projects on time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing expert advice across multiple disciplines
- Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding design issues
- Generating solutions to complex problems using sound judgement
- Developing detailed plans from conceptualisation through commissioning

Qualifications & Skills Required:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications/skills (derived from tags section):

BPSS clearance level or ability to obtain it quickly

Skills:
- Strong analytical skills enabling identification of potential risks.
- Ability work under pressure whilst still maintaining attention-to-detail
- Adept at prioritizing tasks
- Excellent communication skill set allowing effective collaboration both internally/externally.


Rate & Duration Information:

This role offers £50 - £55 per hour rate inside IR35; however negotiable depending upon experience held by candidate(s). The position has an initial duration period of twelve months but may extend further after review.
