Salary: £15 per hour, 25 hours per week as a freelance contractor

Contract Type: Contractor (flexible, long-term opportunity for the right fit)

Please be aware that this is a contractor role. The successful candidate will operate on a freelance basis and will be responsible for managing their own taxes and National Insurance.

The Role
We are looking for anIT Engineer to join our team. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your IT skills in a supportive environment. You will provide IT support remotely, with occasional on-site visits when necessary per arrangement. A strong focus on excellent customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing remote IT support to clients and troubleshooting technical issues

- Managing and maintaining Microsoft 365, including administration tasks

- Assisting with Google Workspace administration

- Supporting Windows and Mac environments

- Collaborating with the team on projects and ensuring smooth IT operations

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in the IT industry

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, system administration, and cybersecurity

- Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, RMM solutions, and managed antivirus

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong English written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent customer service manner

- Project Management skills

- Ability to travel to London for on-site work occasionally, per arrangement

- Lived experience of a disability

Desirable Skills

- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device management

- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for file management and intranet configuration

- Basic understanding of networking principles

- Interest in or experience with IT hardware builds and configurations

- Understanding of accessibility features and inclusive technology
