Join an established boutique consultancy with a growing penetration testing and red teaming division as we seek a Head of Red Teaming to lead and expand our function. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will lead adversary simulation engagements and work with the team to help shape the strategic direction of the business.
Assume these will be well-defended environments with big security budgets – a perfect situation for someone comfortable solving complex security challenges!
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead Red Team Engagements: Leverage your expertise to deliver advanced adversary simulations and penetration testing engagements across a variety of sectors, providing comprehensive security assessments.
Client and Team Collaboration: Take charge of the red teaming function, working closely with senior management and engaging in pre-sales activities to define and enhance service offerings for clients.
Drive Team Growth: Own the development of the red team, refining methodologies, while mentoring and training less-experienced operators to foster skill growth.
Technical Leadership: You'll conduct high-level adversary simulations in well-defended environments, including cloud security testing, EDR evasion, and Active Directory exploitation.
Innovation and Development: Lead the development of new Red Team tools and internal products to enhance service delivery and stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats through ongoing research.
What You'll Need:
Proven Red Teaming Experience: Experience delivering advanced adversary simulation engagements and penetration testing, including red teaming in regulated or complex environments.
Technical Expertise: Expertise in EDR evasion, Active Directory exploitation, cloud security testing, and red team tool development.
Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring teams, and establishing technical working practices within red team operations.
Certifications: CREST CCSAS (or CCRTS) qualification is essential; CCSAM or CSRTM are also highly desirable.
Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for UK SC clearance and willing to undergo the process.
