The project:
Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Development Team Lead to join their team.
You will combine 3 “roles”:
People manager
You manage the daily functioning of RAD and represent RAD to the management.
You motivate team members, give them the means to grow.
You follow an open feedback culture and continuous evaluation.
You manage the contracts of the externals based on actual needs.
You promote a good team atmosphere and collaboration.
Project manager
You oversee 35 active applications for different business lines and manage priorities.
You discuss and follow up on the budget for the different applications/business lines.
You prepare and participate to different management & prioritization meetings.
Security expert
You ensure that the technological standards and the security rules of the bank are followed for all applications.
You follow the secured development process of the bank.
You complete all IT control plans and audits.
Is this you?
In depth knowledge of English is required
Good knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
Academic background in economics, informatics or sciences
3-5 years experience
You are flexible and open-minded, able to adapt within a fast changing environment
You are able to create an environment that will allow developers to thrive
You have a good level of IT knowledge in both the Java and the .Net world
You have a good knowledge of the financial products of the dealing room
You understand the technological standards and the security rules of a Bank and you will enforce those in the daily activities of the team
You are able to manage different projects and prioritize based on business needs and budget
You have good analytical, synthesis and communication skills
