We've joined forces with one of the UK's leading business lending platforms who connect small businesses with investors using innovative technology.
They are looking for a Lead Valuations & Forecasting Analyst to play a key role in shaping data driven investment decisions.
What you'll be doing...
You will own and update Net-Present-Value (NPV) valuations architecture to model new product features.
You will improve analytical framework for unit economics.
You will support finance through the budgeting process and on activities such as stress testing.
You will support Commercial, Product and Marketing teams on investment decisions.
You will build summary data tables to aid analytical efficiencies when required.
What they are looking for...
Expertise with SQL, VBA, and a strong background in creating complex Excel models.
Financial Services/FinTech experience is a must, with specific experience in credit card valuations highly preferred.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
If you have familiarity with Python and dbt that would be advantageous, but it is by no means essential.

- Senior Java Software Engineer Senior Java Software Engineer is required by our client in Manchester to join a high performing Software Engineering team to take ownership in coding, unit testing, PR review/approval, progression, and management of code through environments into production, mentoring and developing team members. As Senior Java Software Engineer you will be instrumental in a scrum team developing and supporting services in a large-scale complex Microservices based architecture hosted completely on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Senior Java Software Engineer not only will you take ownership of a complex estate, but you will also be accountable for future integrations bringing best-practise and scalability principles to ensure clean code continues to be implemented within a Test-Driven Domain (TDD) and Domain-Drive-Design (DDD). My clients software engineering approach is modern and follows workflow-based architectures, with deployment practises in a DevOps and Scrum workflow, utilising Maven and Jenkins to implement solutions across Kubernetes clusters. Abilities in JavaScript and particularly VueJS and React are beneficial. Working in a hybrid working culture as Senior Java Software Engineer the expectation is that you will be onsite with our clients partner’s for 80% (4 days) of the working week, being home at the weekend – based on project requirements). Senior Java Software Engineer contract profile required: Must hold active DV / EDV security clearance to be considered. Must have at least seven years’ experience developing software solutions in Java and knowledgeable in version 11-17.
