The Role
You’ll work closely with our Technical & Innovation Team, focusing on backend systems, automation, and AI integration. While part of your role involves working with Wix's backend infrastructure, the bigger picture is about leveraging AI tools and automation to drive efficiency—both for MiGolf and partner businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development – Build, optimise, and maintain digital systems, including Wix-based booking and operational tools (prior Wix experience is great, but we’ll train the right candidate).
Automation & AI Integration – Develop AI-powered tools using OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and automation platforms like Zapier or Make.com.
Workflow & Process Optimisation – Streamline customer interactions, internal operations, and business functions using smart automation.
Rapid Career Growth – Transition into a senior role within six months, where you’ll mentor two apprentices and take ownership of key projects.
Who You Are
Backend-Focused Developer – Strong experience in backend development, APIs, databases, and server-side logic. Wix Velo or similar no-code backend tools are a bonus but not essential.
AI & Automation Enthusiast – You’ve worked with, or are eager to work with, AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek) and automation tools.
Problem-Solver & Self-Starter – You love figuring things out, making systems more efficient, and bringing ideas to life.
