About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Architect to join a leading financial services client undergoing a major digital transformation. You will play a key role in assessing the existing platform landscape, defining the Power Platform architecture, and driving the design of scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
This role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise, solution architecture, and strategic advisory, ensuring the Power Platform environment supports the client’s future business and
technology goals.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Assessment & Design: Conduct a full review of Power Platform solutions, identifying dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.
Architecture & Development Strategy: Define best-practice architecture for Power Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
Project Control & Governance: Establish governance frameworks, change control processes, and ensure seamless development and deployment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business, technical teams, and senior leadership to align the Power Platform strategy with wider digital transformation goals.
Development Landscape Evaluation: Assess current development processes, tools, and best practices, recommending improvements.
Platform & Environment Management: Ensure effective Power Platform
environment management, including security and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Power Platform Architect, with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
Strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Experience in solution assessment, dependency management, and platform constraints.
Ability to define and implement Power Platform best practices for large-scale organisations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and business teams.
Experience in financial services or regulated industries is highly desirable.
Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance frameworks for enterprise Power
Platform implementations.

Role context: Global Transformation Business Analysts are at the centre of how Global Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change (for e.g. Regulatory, Business Growth, Streamline etc.) working with the business and our delivery partners. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Strong functional understanding of Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Data and Controls Strong functional knowledge of Risk Engines, Monte Carlo Simulation and Pricing Models and Risk aggregation Expert knowledge of Global Change Framework, methodologies and best practice techniques A thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Transformation Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives Very strong knowledge of the external environment–regulatory, political, competitors etc. Business re-engineering knowledge Advanced Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques Advanced Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches Experience Proven track record as an outstanding analyst or consultant Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise Extensive experience of using multiple analysis techniques in a change environment, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects Experience of business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environments (branch, contact centre, trading floor, operations, head office etc.).
