Background on the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-year transformational Oracle EPM Cloud project. This pivotal role will oversee the end-to-end management of the implementation and integration of Oracle EPM Cloud modules, including Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Tax Reporting (TRCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Planning (PBCS), Narrative Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management (EDM). The successful candidate will possess proven experience in complex EPM transformations, demonstrate strong leadership in cross-functional teams, and apply a results-driven approach to managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of the Oracle EPM Cloud project across all EPM modules.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans that outline phases, dependencies, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Establish and maintain effective governance structures to monitor project progress and manage escalations.
• Effectively communicate project expectations, progress reports, status updates and RAID logs to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members, stakeholders, business owners, sponsors, and senior management.
• Identify and manage project dependencies, risk, issues, decisions and clearly track and communicate implications on the critical path.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans where appropriate
• Conduct project lessons learned and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Leadership & Team management
• Consistently display exemplary leadership qualities amongst the wider Finance team and across the organisation bringing vision, credibility, accountability to the role
• Develop close working relationships with senior finance management in all Flutter divisions
• Creating a climate of collaboration and positive change, winning the buy-in and support of all stakeholders
• Lead, inspire and develop wider-team members and colleagues to help drive a high-performance culture
• Establish highly effective programme governance and communication structures with relevant stakeholders

Required Experience:

• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-year finance transformation projects with Oracle EPM modules (FCCS, TRCS, ARCS, Planning, Narrative Reporting, and EDM).
• Strong process, technical and analytical skills, combined with commercial acumen.
• A keen strategic thinker with the ability to set objectives and priorities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills: the ability to accurately identify key issues and communicate them effectively and succinctly to all audiences up to, and including the CFO.
• Experience in Oracle EPM Cloud modules as a functional/technical consultant is a plus
• PMI, PMP or Diploma in Project Management is a plus
• Solid experience of managing teams and building consensus / collaborative delivery of goals
• Extensive knowledge of Finance technology solutions and implementation experience
• Excellent analytical and co-ordination skills, a ‘completer – finisher’ taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment which requires robust metrics to confirm success
