Key Responsibilities

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to assist a government organisation with the rollout of their Workday Planning module. Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and government standards.

This role will oversee the delivery of the new Chart of Accounts (CoA), a key foundation for the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM systems.
A key focus will be managing the delivery of Related Value Sets (RVS) across CoA segments, hierarchies, Cross Validation Rules, and Security Rules—building on existing work while working closely with finance teams to ensure everything is fully reviewed and ready for each phase of go-live. A critical aspect of the role will be ensuring data reconciliation across migrated platforms, with clear audit trails for external auditors.
The role requires strong expertise in managing and configuring Oracle applications, ideally with formal Oracle training. Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM & ERP Cloud applications is essential, including Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and Financial Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS).
Experience with Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) is a must.
You will be the data expert across finance ensuring a seamless migration from old COA to new. With a Strong background in governance controls, change management, conceptual data modelling, master data management, data standardization, and data quality management.

Job Description:
We are supporting our client on a large-scale Finance Transformation programme, implementing Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM modules, to source a Oracle Cloud BI Lead. This role will help design, develop, and manage reporting solutions within Oracle Fusion Reporting, EPM, Fusion Data Intelligence, and Analytics for this leading organisation.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in interpreting functional business needs within the Finance teams and build the required reports using Oracle Reporting tools and frameworks (OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI). This role will ensure data accuracy, enhance reporting capabilities, and create a robust reporting framework to support all business functions. You will work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs, develop both standardized and custom reports, and upskill teams to self-serve future or custom reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Influence and guide business teams on utilising Oracle reporting tools to improve data insights.
Engage with Finance stakeholders to ensure strategic direction and business objectives are well understood.
Provide expert financial analysis and recommendations to senior management on reporting and strategic decisions.
Lead the training and development of a new Shared Services Oracle Reporting Team (off-shore).
Assist in building processes and procedures to ensure service delivery meets agreed service levels.
Proactively troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of reporting issues, implementing preventative measures as needed.
Review and approve Change Requests impacting the reporting space.
Lead and support testing activities (System, Integration, User Acceptance).
Support ad-hoc projects (e.g., acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures).
Work closely with global technology teams on reporting interfaces, integrations, and data models.
Provide guidance on complex application configuration activities within reporting systems.
Skills and Experience:
Relevant tertiary education in IT, Finance, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of complex multi-currency, multi-company accounting systems, essential.
Accredited Oracle Certified Professional or similar certification.
Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EPM (PBCS, FCCS, and PMCS) implementations.
Solid knowledge of Oracle applications architecture, including data and reporting flows through ERP and EPM applications.
Strong report development skills in Oracle Cloud BI reporting frameworks (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View) are essential.
