My client, a large Bank, is searching for a Murex Business Analyst/Project manager with experience in Murex and Treasury implementations to help deliver a Murex platform upgrade designed to enhance global treasury operations, risk management, and compliance for 2025 readiness.
This hybrid role, based in London, offering a daily rate of approximately £700-£800 inside IR35. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension.
The ideal Murex Business Analyst/PM will help lead the treasury-focused Murex implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring milestones align with the institution's strategic objectives. This will involve gathering detailed treasury requirements across cash flow management, short-term investments, liquidity risk, and funding strategies.
Hybrid PM/BA Expertise:
Proven experience managing treasury-related projects involving Murex, with a focus on liquidity, cash flow, and treasury product handling.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Murex integration.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Murex configurations and interfaces.
Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business needs and system capabilities.
5+ years working on Murex implementations or upgrades, with expertise in treasury workflows, trade capture, and accounting.
Familiarity with treasury-focused Murex modules: Money Markets (MM), Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rate Derivatives, PnL, and Datamart.
Strong understanding of treasury instruments, including cash flow products, FX swaps, IR derivatives, and liquidity strategies.
Experience mapping and optimising cash flow forecasting and funding processes.
