Solution Architect - WorkDay - Integration - London.
My client are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong background in Workday and integrations to design and implement scalable, robust solutions that align with our business needs. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing Workday functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external systems, and driving innovation across our HRIS ecosystem. Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Workday modules (eg, HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking).
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
Design and manage integrations between Workday and other systems using Workday Studio, EIBs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and other integration tools.
Ensure integration reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on Workday best practices and standards.
Continuously evaluate the Workday environment and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline workflows.
Ensure all Workday integrations and configurations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
Maintain robust documentation for all technical designs, configurations, and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Workday Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, architecture, and configuration.
Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, EIBs, and core connectors.
Integration Proficiency:
Strong experience in designing and building integrations using APIs, Middleware tools, and Workday's integration tools.
Proficiency with Web Services, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Workday solutions architecture and integrations.
Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is highly desirable.
