Procurement Manager - Permanent Contract

We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will take Ownership of a range of sub-categories within Cornerstone's key delivery offer including Acquisition,
Design, Engineering and Construction, along with the associated company spend and relevant supplier base.
The Procurement Manage will develop appropriate commercial strategies and approaches to optimise value-for-money and minimise supplier-related risk.
The Category Manager will own, develop & deliver sourcing events (both traditional & e-sourcing) which fully align with Cornerstone's Corporate Procurement Policy.
Working in conjunction with a range of internal stakeholders, the Procurement Category Manager will drive commercial benefit, service delivery improvement and process efficiency.
Role Requirements;
To support and contribute actively to health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers
Lead the business in agreeing and delivering clear and compelling sub-category strategies which fully support the company's strategic objectives (as cascaded each year). Understand the Value Chain and challenge materials, specifications, sources of supply etc. to deliver value improvements.
Plan and execute negotiations for both formal tenders and ad-hoc activities, ensuring that the Business obtains best value-for-money on targeted spend.
Lead sourcing activities and the management of complex projects and facilitate cross-functional group planning and action.
Lead supplier event days and other internal/external communication forums aimed at developing and engaging with the supply base to improve performance.
Ensure that Suppliers have necessary capability and capacity to support the Business's requirements, following the corporate supplier evaluation and On-Boarding process.
Working with key internal functions, ensure that robust contingencies are in place for critical items (alternate supplier sources, business continuity plans etc).
Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external key stakeholders to ensure Procurement governance and facilitate post-award relationship management, and maintain effective cross functional relationships.
As well as, Commercial contribution, Supplier Negotiation, Process Management, and Reporting, Monitoring & Tracking.
Experience (Technical, Management, and Industry);
Experience delivering change and improvement across partnerships and organisational boundaries.
Ability to design, develop and manage Category sourcing strategies. Design, develop and manage operational models, processes and governance structures.
Planning, prioritising and delivering improvements to achieve objectives within timescales.
Develop and managing, Stakeholder relationships.
Degree educated preferred but not essential.
7+ years in a relevant Procurement or Supply Chain
Management environment.
Hands-on category management, negotiating and presentational skills.
RFP/Sourcing Event management.
Goal deployment of strategy and process creation.
Strategic and collaborative thinker.
Complex problem solver and guide/influencer to others in the resolution of complex issues.
CIPS membership and Accreditation preferred but not essential.

Reporting to the Data Quality Manager, we are looking to recruit a Data Quality Analyst to provide solutions to data quality issues through data analysis and cleansing. We will also look to the successful candidate to propose longer term strategic solutions to avoid recurrences of data issues.
What the Data Quality Analyst can expect to be doing:
Provide detailed analysis of data quality through the use of our Informatica data quality tool
Provide observations and recommendations for further data improvement and/or root cause solutions through general analysis
Organize and facilitate meetings with department-specific business experts to share ideas, discuss opportunities and provide support
Familiarity with Data Quality tools such as Informatica, EDQ and similar
Significant experience in hands on correction and analysis of master data

Context:
The IT, Data and Cyber Security function is a critical enabler for the MBNL business. Acting as a centre of excellence providing services to the business, the function is accountable for translating the business strategy into solutions to improve service, efficiency, and overall business performance.
Reporting to the Head of Information Security, the Senior Security and Business Engagement Manager is a critical role in planning, tracking, and communicating the effectiveness of the security remediations, operations and risk management and aligning the security function to the business.
What you can expect to be doing:
Take accountability for identifying, managing and co-ordinating the Information Security team demand, activities and business engagement. Ensuring the security team proactively manage the security business outcomes.
Proactively manage and successfully orchestrate large, complex security activities, solutions and remediations, to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
Establish and maintain the alignment of the security function to MBNL and shareholder security requirements, maximising the delivery of benefit to the shareholders and MBNL stakeholders
Engage with the business to understand and manage demand into the security team
Understand the key business activities in the wider organisation and ensure security requirements are built into these programmes
Manage dependencies between the business and the security functions
Manage budget and resource of the security team
Define and manage the operating rhythm of the security team, the security team activities, and actions and risks arising from these activities
To manage budget demand and ensure funding is secured for the security activities
Ensure governance and reporting are managed and of good quality
Promote the awareness and training delivery into the business
What we are looking for:
Understanding and experience of key Information Security frameworks and industry standards/regulations (CSF 2, CAF, ISO27001, TSA)
Significant and extensive experience of initiating, directing and managing the delivery of large scale, complex security projects and portfolios.
Significant experience of supervising and managing teams of retained resource and key partners to deliver large and highly complex projects and portfolios to agreed time, cost and quality.
Extensive experience of formal Project/Programme Management in a technology industry (mobile telecommunications desirable but not essential, other industries experience will also be recognised).
Experience working in telco or related environment such as, SCADA and ICS or similar background also applicable
Experience delivering security solutions and services such as SIEM, IDS, SOC, IAM, PAM, TVM.
A proven track record of bringing industry best practice into an organisation and using this to drive continuous improvement.
Experience of managing remotely located, cross-functional teams.

Data Protection Officer

We are looking for an individual who has a genuine love of data protection, can think innovative and provide practical and commercial advice in relation to data protection. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, the Data Protection Officer will provide specialist and practical guidance in relation to data protection laws and regulations to facilitate compliance with the requirements and drive forward a culture where data protection is at the heart of our business.
In this role you'll do a variety of interesting and important things that are essential to operate in a way that enables it to be compliant with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure personal information is processed in line with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
Ensure industry good practice through the implementation of appropriate data privacy frameworks
Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and with our data protection policies, including managing internal data protection activities, raising awareness of data protection issues, providing training and awareness to staff and conducting compliance reviews
Manage data privacy breaches or near misses, support the identification of the root cause, mitigation and monitor implementation to prevent recurrence
Advise on and monitor data protection impact assessments
Act as the point of contact for the ICO and for individuals whose data is processed or those who process data on our behalf. Oversee timely response to data subject access requests.
Identify and understand the key risks associated with the processing we undertake, escalate as appropriate and work closely with the risk team to monitor and mitigate these risks
Provide SME input on data handling and protection including data classification, retention, loss prevention and encryption and emerging technologies such as AI
Manage the DP team, coach and mentor team members to achieve outstanding levels of delivery, performance, challenge and oversight
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Must have experience managing a team in a similar role
Excellent understanding and knowledge of UK data protection legislation & regulatory regime, with a proven history of working in the field of data protection (including eg ISEB/CIPPE qualification)
Demonstrable experience in the application and implementation of Privacy by Design and Default, conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments and independent assessment of data breaches
Experience as DPO in a B2C environment (ideally Telecoms) with large customer data sets, including marketing
Ability to perform the duties of a DPO independently, including corresponding with regulators and data subjects, providing advice and guidance to the business
Ability to work with technical and security teams to develop data protection policies and processes
Experience working in a fast paced environment and able to prioritise activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential; a people person skilled at building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally as well as managing key stakeholders
Strong writing skills - ability to perform detailed analysis and write clear concise reports and advisory briefs
Proven ability to implement change and manage processes
