Working in a Microsoft stack house, we would like someone who has migration experience.

This role is an urgent requirement and will be an initial 3-6 month contract. This role would be working hybrid - 3 days on-site across 2 locations and 2 days remote. We need someone available immediate - 1 week. This role is paying between £400-£455 per day inside IR35.

We are currently on the look for a Head of Engineering to join a fast growing Fin-tech organisation. This is an extremely exciting position, to be able to build/scale enhave the technology team and to be able to work hand-in-hand with the CTO of the organisation.

About the Company

The organisation employs a modern, serverless technology stack to power its investment platform. Key components include:

Backend Infrastructure : Built on serverless architecture using Firebase and Google Cloud Functions, facilitating scalability and efficient event-driven data processing.
Data Storage and Management : Utilizes Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database for document-oriented data storage, complemented by BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics.
Programming Languages and Frameworks : Develops mobile applications using Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS. The frontend leverages JavaScript and TypeScript, with React as the primary library for building user interfaces.

Cloud Management: Taking ownership of and managing our cloud infrastructure, collaborating with engineering teams to identify and implement the most suitable cloud solutions and technologies.
Monitoring & Diagnostics: Overseeing our monitoring and diagnostics, working closely with engineering teams to achieve top-tier observability, alerting systems, service level objectives (SLOs), and cost attribution for our software ecosystem.
CI/CD Infrastructure: Managing the CI/CD infrastructure for our suite of products, ensuring streamlined and efficient deployment processes.

Job Purpose
We are looking for candidates with the following key attributes:
Attention to detail: Accurately enter large amounts of data into a computer system or database. Errors can have significant consequences.

Key Responsibilities
To input and maintain data in the business system databases across the EMEA operation in line with business requests and timelines.
To ensure optimum data integrity by running audit methods on a regular basis. Support the Data Lead with ongoing development, effectivity, and efficiency of such methods.
Identify and correct errors and inconsistencies in the data whilst providing feedback to continuously improve processes in both data collation and input.
Input/Maintenance of Material Master records in SAP for EMEA Sales Organisations and Plants.
Input/Maintenance of Customer Master data into SAP for EMEA Sales Organisations and Plants.
Maintain Billing outputs and contact emails.
Control of Supersession & Obsolescence across the EMEA business.
Generate Product BoM & Routings data within SAP.
Manage Data Team’s Process and Work instructions.
Support Finance with the Cost Roll-up Process.
